Family Faith Formation Information & Registration
“Family Catechesis…precedes, accompanies and enriches all other forms of catechesis. Thus, there cannot be too great an effort on the part of Christian parents to prepare for this ministry of being their own children’s catechists and to carry it out with tireless zeal.”
-Pope St. John Paul II, Catechesi Tradendae

More about our program:
Parents are called and empowered by Christ to fulfill their mission to proclaim the Gospel of Life and to help their children grow closer to Him and better understand God’s love for them. Our Family Faith Formation program centers on the importance of parents as their child’s primary catechists. We offer the most engaging and inspiring resources for families with children in Kindergarten through 6th grade and plan community gatherings for fellowship and experiential prayer.
For our families of 7th and 8th graders we have Confirmation Preparation sessions on Wednesdays and Sundays, respectively. During these two years of preparation, the Confirmation Team presents candidates with a deeper understanding of their faith and journeys with them as they seek to deepen their discipleship in Christ. These sessions include prayer, teachings, small group sharing and testimonies of the Holy Spirit’s work in one’s life. Come Holy Spirit!
“Parents, you have been entrusted with a treasure of faith to pass on to your precious children with the support of the Church and other families! This year you will experience renewed joy in Christ as you nurture faith in the hearts of your children and grow in friendship with other families. We are here for you all along the way! God bless!” (Dominic Salamida and the Faith Formation Team)
