Faith Formation Registration is NOW OPEN!
Registration for K-6 Family of Faith (including First Holy Communion), Confirmation Year 1, Confirmation Year 2 & High School Youth Group is open for the 2026/27 year. Registration will close on August 31st.

Parents are called and empowered by Christ to fulfill their mission to proclaim the Gospel of Life and to help their children grow closer to Him and better understand God’s love for them. Our Family Faith Formation program centers on the importance of parents as their child’s primary catechists. We offer the most engaging and inspiring resources for families with children in Kindergarten through 6th grade and plan community gatherings for fellowship and experiential prayer.
For our families of 7th and 8th graders we have Confirmation Preparation sessions on Wednesdays and Sundays, respectively. During these two years of preparation, the Confirmation Team presents candidates with a deeper understanding of their faith and journeys with them as they seek to deepen their discipleship in Christ. These sessions include prayer, teachings, small group sharing and testimonies of the Holy Spirit’s work in one’s life. Come Holy Spirit!

Family of Faith Formation for Grades K-6 will consist of:
– Family of Faith by Sophia Press
– Two Monthly Family Lesson Meetings each month starting in September
– Weekly Mass Attendance and other Parish Activities & Celebrations
– Additional Immediate Preparation for those children receiving the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and Holy Communion
Required Parent Only Orientation Meeting (for K-6 and First Holy Communion):
September 10th from 6pm-7pmpm or September 13th from 3pm-4pm
Family Lesson Meetings: Thursday, September 17th from 6pm-7pm or Sunday, September 20th 3pm-4pm
6th Grade Option: If you have a student who is entering the 6th grade, you may choose the Blaze/Masterpiece program for girls or Encounter (new) for boys instead of K-6 Family of Faith. Both of these programs are held on Wednesday nights from 5:30pm-8pm.
Please note: This option does not replace Confirmation Year 1 in 7th grade.
If you would like to register your 6th grader for Blaze/Masterpiece or Encounter (new) for boys, please select this option on the form. The Required Parent Only Orientation for Blaze/Masterpiece and Encounter is September 9th @ 5:30pm.
Homeschool Families: Are you interested in participating in our K–6 Family Faith Formation program during school hours?
We are excited to gather a homeschool group this year! If your family would like to learn and grow in the Catholic faith alongside other homeschooling families, please contact Kelly Stevens at momsministry@nocateecatholic.com for more information.

– Weekly Mass Attendance and other Parish Activities/ Celebrations
– Service Hour Completion (15 hours)
Required Parent Only Orientation Meeting: September 9th @ 5:30pm
First class for students: September 16th @ 5:30pm-8pm
Confirmation Year 1 girls participate in the Blaze/Masterpiece program, and boys participate in our new program based on the Mass. Both meet separately on Wednesday nights.
Confirmation Preparation will consist of:
– Confirmation Year 2 weekly meetings on Sunday evenings from 5:30pm-8pm
– Weekly Mass Attendance and other Parish Activities/ Celebrations
– Service Hour Completion (15 hours)
Required Parent Only Orientation Meeting: September 13th @ 5:30pm
Student’s first class: September 20th 5:30pm-8pm
Please note: Completion of Confirmation Year 1 either at SJPII or another parish is required to be added to the Confirmation Year 2 group. Please submit a letter of completion from the previous parish to the Family Life Office if the student did not complete Year 1 at SJPII. Thank you.
